Cynthia R Guo (Cindy) is a general surgery resident at the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Peoria. She is a graduate of the combined eight year baccalaureate and doctoral program (Program in Liberal Medical Education) at Brown University, and received her MD degree in 2026 from the Warren Alpert Medical School. She was born and raised in Rhode Island.
Long before her interest in surgery, Cindy has been drawing and painting since the age of four, primarily focusing on illustrating figures, transient movement, and urban and natural landscapes that she perceives through her iPhone. She is inspired by the work of various painters and draughtsmen including DaVinci, Rembrandt, Vermeer, Goya, Durer, Whistler, Giacometti, and Jeremy Miranda.
